Solo project

WHY?

I wanted to keep myself occupied during periods of downtime, all the while creating something that my son and I may eventually have fun playing in the future.

System design

Tiny Treasures' Sneak feature is an important one, in that it's what allows the player to successfully avoid the enemies' gaze. Here is a document that gets into the nitty-gritty of how the stealth system works and its ramifications and design choices.

Character Controller

Tech design

The character controller is something that is very important to Tiny Treasures, as it needed to conform to certain design restrictions. I made use of Unity's built-in physics engine to create a floating controller that allowed Sam McQuack to interact with the world around them.
